How’s the inspection works?

For termites, hibiscus and general pests: Our professional technicians will identify and assess the degree of infection during an initial inspection. We will then suggest appropriate pest control strategies and quotations. After service confirmation, our pest control team will visit the infested area again to check for details including the source of the infection, the degree of infection and the treated environment.

Is On-site inspection free of charge?

Yes. By presenting photos or our on-site visit, we will provide an initial inspection/ assessment free of charge.
(For outlying islands and overseas inspection, a minimum of HK$500 will be charged)

How's your Pest Control Management works?

We will tailor-made different pest control methods for both residential and industrial customers depend on the types of pests treated, the degree of infection and the environmental conditions. Do I need to move the furniture or clean-ups?

For general pests (cockroaches , ants, mosquitoes, flies, booklice, etc.): Before carrying out the prevention and treatment services, the owner needs to clean up the debris in advance, so it can be much easier to find out the hiding place of the pests. We suggest you can wrap the clothes and utensils to avoid contamination

  • Dust mites: You are required to clean the sheets, bedding, pillows and bed debris first. If possible, please allow enough space for turning the mattress, and please move the bedstead for intense treatments
  • Bed bug: Please clean up the debris in advance. We will firstly steam and wrap each infested item, so you need to prepare enough wrapping materials for our service. After that, we will have a comprehensive fogging treatment at your whole premises. We may ask the homeowner to abandon large furniture that are seriously infected by hibiscus to avoid continuous infestation

Note: Our service team do not provide assembly and disassembly or logistics services

How long will the treatment take? Do I need to leave the premises?

  • For General pests (cockroaches, ants, mosquitoes, flies, booklice, etc.): It takes only 15-30 minutes to complete the treatment for a 500 salable square feet flat. You do not need to leave the premises
  • For Dust mites: It takes about 15 minutes to clean and apply treatment for each bed. You do not need to leave.
  • For bed bug: The service time depends on the degree of infection and indoor condition. Generally, we need around 4 hours for treatment of a 500 salable feet flat. A second treatment will be applied within 14 days. If the area is seriously infected, we may need longer processing time and frequency.
  • (The processing time and frequency are subject to the agreed service quotation)
  • For ULV fogging. You need to stay away from the application site. After fogging, please leave doors and windows closed for 2-4 hours before back to site.

Is there any residue of the pesticide? Is it smelly? How long does it take to clean the place where the application has been applied?

We may choose to use residual or non-residual pesticides depend on different cases. Our professional team will explain in details for you before application.

Most of the pesticides we used are colorless and odorless; some may have a slight plant or acetic acid smell, but will not cause irritation

Generally, the pesticide will naturally evaporate over time and does not require special cleaning.

How to charge the fee? What is your payment method?

Our charges for indoor premises will be based on salable area, the service time as well as types of pesticide used. The minimum charge is based on 500 square feet.

Outdoor service will be charged based on treatment methods, equipment used, service time and pesticide dosage.

All the above charges are subject to service quotation agreed between Century Strong Limited and client.

Payment method: We accept cash or cheques. Please present to our service team after service.

How to make an appointment?

Cancellation or rescheduling: You must notify us at least 24 hours in advance and get a confirmation reply from us for any cancellation or rescheduling. If we do not receive a request to cancel the inspection or service, we will charge a minimum of HK$300 per service member upon arrival. The attendance fee for outlying islands and overseas areas is HK$1,000 per service member.

How to prevent from Termite Invasion?

What is the pesticide for preventing termites? Is it harmful to people and animals?

We use BoraCare®, developed and produced by Nisus Corp® in the United States, to carry out termite prevention treatment in the property. It is a patented borate product whose main ingredient is natural minerals. Boron is a substance that is very common in the natural environment and generally has no harms on humans or animals.

In addition, Bora-Care® will only penetrate into the concrete wall and into the wood for permanent protection against termite intrusion, so it will not be released into the air. Humans and animals will not be exposed to Bora-Care®. This is a very safe product.

What do I need to prepare when apply Bora-Care®? Is it necessary to stop the construction work when carrying out the service?

You only need to communicate with your decoration designer or workshop that we will carry the termite prevention project for your property. We will coordinate with your crew for a workable plan that will not delay your time of renovation.

How to charge the fee? What is your payment method?

我們一般以物業的室內實用面積及處理木板材的數量來計算費用。我們會根據客人提供的物業圖則及裝修設計圖則作報價估算。

According to our warranty plan, we will provide free annual on-site inspection for the first 3 years. The renewal fee will be charged in the fourth year, and the inspection fee is 5% of the cost of "BoraCare® Permanent Termite Prevention Program" (ranged from a minimum charge of HK$2,000 to a maximum charge of HK$10,000).

Payment method: We will charge 50% deposit before the project begins, another 30% of the total payment will be charge after application on walls. The remaining 20% balance will be settled after completion of wooden boards with BoraCare®

How to make an appointment?

"BoraCare® Permanent Termite Prevention Program": It will be carried out in 2 stages. The first stage is application of BoraCare® for all the bare concrete walls that have not been decorated, and the second stage is for all the decoration bare wood boards.

Stage 1: Please contact us at least 3 days before plastering starts.
If you need to work on your wall decoration at different periods, please let us know before our termite prevention project starts, as it may need additional scheduling or additional charges if necessary.

Stage 2: Please contact us at least 3 working days before the arrival of all the plates at your premises.
Please specify the number of wooden plates in advance. If you need to transport the wooden plates to the site at different periods, or if we need to carry out the service outside Hong Kong, please let us know before our termite prevention project starts, as it may need additional scheduling or additional charges if necessary.

Annual regular inspection: Please make an appointment with us at least 7 working days in advance.

Greenkey 5Q Formaldehyde Decomposition

What is the difference between completely De-formaldehyde service and other formaldehyde removal services?

The De-formaldehyde service we provided emphasizes on pre-decomposition of the plywood that contain most formaldehyde. We aim at solving the most serious formaldehyde pollution from root. For other formaldehyde removal services, they can only serve as remedy to remove formaldehyde from time to time, but cannot completely decompose formaldehyde.

We use natural chitin, which is modified by the world patent "AP-AS technology", to decompose formaldehyde into non-toxic H2O, which is the safest and most sustainable method to isolate human from hazard of formaldehyde.

What is the safty standard of formaldehyde in a fixed area?

How to detect formaldehyde?

Our professional inspectors will bring along with a professional formaldehyde detector for measurement. To make an accurate and representative measurement, we will request customer to confine indoor surface area for 12 hours before the measurement take place. The first visit is to collect the air sample for specific formaldehyde areas, and check whether the formaldehyde content in the air exceeds the safety index.

After confirmation of using our "Greenkey® 5Q De-formaldehyde Service”, we will measure air sample collected at specific space and fixed-point position at every stage of our service application, to ensure the formaldehyde safety level is up to standard. After move-in the premises for 30 days, we will arrange a final measurement and conduct a comparative test at the treated surface area and fixed-point position to ensure continuous and effective performance.

Will the on-site inspection charge?

Inspection prior to service: We will provide one free formaldehyde content measurement for a newly renovated property. For measurement of formaldehyde content for all indoor wooden furniture and renovation, we may need to have extra charges depend on the saleable area of your property.

For "Greenkey® 5Q De-formaldehyde Service”: the plan already included 1 find measurement and 1 report for the air sample collected at specific surface area and fixed-point position at your property.

Every single formaldehyde inspection: HK$3,000. Charges include indoor measurement and report for air sample collected at specified space and fixed position.For details, please click here

How to make an appointment?

"Greenkey® 5Q De-formaldehyde Service” classified into:

1. Complete de-formaldehyde plan for the whole premise

This plan will include 3 stages, from decompose formaldehyde of plywood, to small parts de-formaldehyde for whole premises

  • Stage 1: Please make an appointment with us at least 3 working days before the arrival of the wood board or plywood
    Please let us know the number of wooden plates at site in advance. If service needs to carry out by stages or outside Hong Kong area, additional charges may apply.
  • Stage 2: Please make an appointment with us at least 3 working days before all wood furniture fixed on wall.
    Please let us know the number of wooden plates at site in advance. If service needs to carry out by stages or outside Hong Kong area, additional charges may apply.
  • Stage 3: Please make an appointment with us at least 10 working days before the appointment.
    Please clean up the premises before our arrival for not affecting our service quality and the decomposition effect (We do not provide cleaning service)

2. De-formaldehyde plan for furniture and small parts

It is carried out in two stages, from de-formaldehyde of the wooden board and plywood before fixture or installaion, to small parts de-formaldehyde for whole premises

Warranty Clause

Initial pest control and disinfection service

Guarantee: 15 days promise for no fleas, cockroaches (Germany), ants, canals and odor

  1. Free inspection for findings of fleas, cockroaches (Germany), ants, canals and odors at treated area within 15 days
  2. For pests that are not caused by new source, no additional fees will be charged for the application of pesticide (except for fogging service)

* For a better result, we recommend our pest control and fogging service to be carried out when furniture are fixed and packed items have moved into the premises

Dust Mite and Flea Elimination Service

Guarantee: 15 days promise for no flea

  1. Free inspection for findings of fleas at treated area within 15 days
  2. For fleas that are not caused by new source, no additional fees will be charged for the application of pesticide

Cockroach and ant control service

Guarantee: 15 days promise for no Cockroach (German) or Ant

  1. Free inspection for findings of Cockroach (German) or Ant at treated area within 15 days
  2. For Cockroach (German) or Ant that are not caused by new source, no additional fees will be charged for the application of pesticide

* In general, the application needs an interval of time for the pests to inhale and get infected. If the pests still appear or in slow motion within 7 days, it is a normal phenomenon which additional application of pesticide is not required.

Bed bugs green treatment

Guarantee: After a detail on-site inspection from our professional inspector, we will recommend a tailor-made treatment plan for your case. We have a 15 days promise for no Hibiscus at treated area. Treatment will be completed until bed bugs are cleared at no additional coast

* Basically, you will need at least 2 treatments for a general level of infection. If the infection is more serious, we may recommend a multiple treatment plan after the on-site inspection

Deodorization and Bacterial Elimination Service

Guarantee: 15 days promise for no drain flies or odors

  1. Free repeated applications within 15days for findings of drain flies / with odor for treated pipelines / drains

*Please note that this is not a channel cleaning service. Our service is to kill bacteria that hide pests, eggs and organic matter in the canal.

Bora-Care®Termite Prevention Service

30-Year Limited Warranty Plan: We will provide free annual on-site inspection for the first 3 years for property owner who have completed our service. The renewal fee will be charged in the fourth year, and the inspection fee is 5% of the "Bora-Care® Permanent Termite Prevention Program" (ranged from minimum charge of HK$2,000 to maximum charge of HK$10,000). We will provide free treatment services (including pesticide costs) when signs of termite damage are found at treated areas.

We provide additional compensation protection. The compensation limit is 10% of the total service price
